NATIONAL WILD TURKEY FEDERATION
Michael has served on the National Board of Directors for the
National Wild
Turkey Federation for 15 years. He has held the positions of
President, Vice President and most recently Chairman of the Board.
WESSEX INC.
Michael also serves on the Board of
Directors for
Wessex Inc, a
research and development company based in Virginia. Wessex Inc.’s goal
is to assist inventors/companies with the marketing of innovative products.
ADVANCED
ENVIRONMENTAL RECYCLING TECHNOLOGIES, INC.
Michael serves on the Board of
Directors for AERT,
a company based in Arkansas. AERT makes cutting edge environmentally
friendly products out of reclaimed wood fiber and recycled polyethylene
plastic. Some of the products are composite decking and railing, ChoiceDek®
Premium and MoistureShield® Composite Decking.
MARATHONER
Michael is an avid runner and has run the Atlanta Marathon, the Chicago Marathon, The Marine
Corp Marathon, the ING Georgia Marathon and
The Boston Marathon.
Michael's latest marathon was the NYC Marathon,
completed November 2, 2008.
His daughters Kristina and Katie love to accompany him as his cheerleaders.
COMMUNITY
Michael is currently
serving as President of his church council. Kristina and Katie
are involved in
confirmation classes and the youth group.
